L Rizzy was happy to watch his first soccer (football) game this past weekend. L Dubs, L Rizzy, and I met some friends to watch the Leipzig Red Bulls soccer team. The Red Bull Arena has a rather fascinating history. Please check it out here...

Since we had a cookout to attend following the game we came to the stadium with some beer and desserts. However, the security was very tight for the match. We approached the check point and upon seeing L Rizzy and the stroller we were both patted down but the stroller went unsearched! Instead of carrying it up the endless stairs we checked it in at the security point, with the goodies covered in the rain tarp. To our surprise, following the match we picked up the stroller and none of the beer had been consumed.
The stadium was gorgeous and we enjoyed a lovely day outside, inspite of a disappointing 1-1 draw.
