Time in Youngstown

After returning to America we were faced with no insurance, no income, and no place to live. Small problems really when you consider the advantages of living in the States: Taco Bell chili cheese burritos and Genji Japanese Steak House.  Nonetheless, by the good graces of Uncle Curt and Aunt Hannah, I had a place to live in New York City while I got myself in order to be employable.  I did  my physicals, got my xrays, gave my blood, and filled out the forms.  During this time, though, L Mama and L Rizzy were spending their time in Ohio staying with family.  It has been absolute torture to see the photos of L Rizzy having a blast and knowing I haven't seen him since September 30.  But, this past weekend L Mama rented a car and blazed down 80 East to NYC so that she could have an OB appointment and we could look for apartments.  Thankfully we found two that would be sufficiently good and sort of within our budget.  Now, with Sandy rolling by, we are just waiting for one of our applications to be accepted so we can have our own place to live in the city near Lenox Hill Hospital. More importantly, my son can soon come home to his daddy's arms.
