L Rizzy's Adventures: International Women's Group meeting

Today was my first meeting with the International Women's Club here in Leipzig. This morning as I was getting ready to go, L Dubs and L Rizzy had a photo shoot, as you can tell by the pictures below. L Dubs was taking pictures of us as we were walking out for the meeting. I felt like it was the first day of school. He even walked outside with us and snapped another before we left. I think he was excited that I would finally be meeting people. After attending the meeting I realized that this group is going to be a great experience for L Rizzy and I. I met women from all over Germany and far away countries like Greece and Australia. Since the group is an international group, the common language is English, so everyone speaks English (hence my desire to get involved!). It was great to have conversations with people other than L Rizzy and L Dubs. L Rizzy and I were invited for coffee on Monday at one of the members houses. We were also invited to join another member and her 5 month old son at a playgroup next Friday. The group has a big Thanksgiving meal planned for members and their families and also a Christmas party. There are plenty of activities that I can join and even bring L Rizzy with me! The ones I can't bring him to I will probably just leave him home alone in his pink high chair with some silverware to play with. Check out the link...
