L Rizzy's Doctor Visit

L Rizzy finally had a visit to the Pediatrician's office.  We were recommend this Pediatrician by a friend who takes her children there.  The Doctor speaks some English, not the best, but better than nothing.  He was confused because L Rizzy had shot records from two different places.  He had his first set of shots in Los Angeles and his second set in Cleveland.  After L Dubs repeatedly explained and gestured the situation to him, he finally understood that L Rizzy needed his 6 month shots.  The Pediatrician administered the shots himself and we were on our way.  It was strange, though, because the ONLY thing the Pediatrician did was give the shots.  There was no weight or length, no listening to his heart or breath sounds, and no checking his ears.  L Rizzy has not been checked out since he was 4 months old when Aunt Marilee saw him.  We have another appointment next week for one more shot so we will see if the same thing happens. If he does not get a thorough check up, we will be finding a new doctor.

After L Rizzy's appointment we stopped to eat at a cute Mexican restaurant nearby.  There was a lovely outdoor dining section that we sat at.  We were excited for the chips and salsa until we realized that it wasn't free like every American "Mexican" restaurant.  We couldn't even get a refill!  The food was AWFUL (but L Dubs reports that the Corona tasted the same)!!! I guess that's why L Dubs and I need Priscilla to come and visit us so she can make us some real Mexican grub!!
