Well, after nearly a year of rugged use and abuse, the City Mini is old news for L Rizzy. We struggled getting him in the stroller for about a month. We had figured out that he wanted to be sitting straight up in the stroller. His old stroller sat up almost all the way but not enough for L Rizzy. He wanted to see the world around him. L Dubs and I went on a hunt for a lightweight stroller that is easy to travel with. We have lots of fun places to visit in the next couple of months and we wanted L Rizzy to be happy in his stroller. I really wanted a McClaren stroller but they are priced much higher in Germany. I mean, I AM married to an unemployed heart surgeon! The baby store right down the street from us had a stroller that was exactly like the McClaren but half the price. We pushed L Rizzy in it and he didn't seem to love it so we went home. A few days later, when L Rizzy was in a better mood, we went back to give it another try. Just our luck, the stroller was no longer there. They had another of the same brand but it was 40 euros more. Par for the course!! We were just getting ready to leave the store when out of the corner of my eye I noticed this little gem. It was cheaper than the initial first one and it had a bar across the front. We put L Rizzy in it and he was in his glory. He was able to pull himself up as far as he wanted and he could see the world around him. L Dubs and I knew this was the one. We bought him a wooden frog to attach to the front bar and L Rizzy is loving life. We were gone yesterday from 10:30-4:30 walking around the zoo and the city. L Rizzy was an angel. He laughed, played, pointed, waved "hi," relaxed, napped, and ate, all in his new stroller!
