L Rizzy's Second Kiss

Blograsssmokers:

Needless to say... it's been a slow month.  Perhaps you're thinking: Hey!  Did L Dubs take a liking to some pure green house sinsemilla?  Is his concentration snapped?  Is his motivation drained?  Is his appetite stimulated?  The answer, of course, is... maybe.  Truth be told, after our hurricane marathon across the Swiss Alps and through Italy's gullet... nothing we did in this here refuge seemed very interesting.  Yes, yes, L Rizzy was accosted by an aggressive older women.  Other than that, though, our time here has been spent awaiting test results (positive), awaiting contract offers (negative) and awaiting the sun to go down (holy hot box).  The summer months have brought intense heat into our humble abode, and with it came unrelenting sweat and misery.  In order to avoid said pain in the flat, we ventured out to the Zoo... because nothing beats the heat like animals and their excrement being baked by the sun.  This is, officially, the THIRD blog post about the Zoo.  Complaints?  Get over it.  If you lived here then you would be welcome to blog about anything you like.

We went with my friend from the 'zig who I teach with... she has a 2.5 year old (Jolina) and a 2 month old (Emilia).  L Rizzy was a perfect fit, checking in at just over 15 months.  The kids were absolutely amazing while tolerating the heat and smells.  L Mama on the other hand...?  After looking at some crazy poop throwing monkeys and nasty lake swilling tigers, Jolina and L Rizzy took to the train for some wind through their hair.  Following this they saw some gorillas and model Elephants.  Finally we ended up at a petting zoo (which, despite several visits before, we did not know existed...).   Truth be told, Jolina is a very pretty little girl and we were hoping to strike up quite a romance seeing as how L Rizzy is into the older types of ladies.  Unfortunately, L Rizzy decided his cup of tea for the day was in the form of an old man looking goat.  We spent the next 2 hours at the playground throwing rocks, riding the slide, and non-verbally dominating our area.  I cannot say that we beat the heat on this day, but we certainly had fun.
